Loop's first in-store grocery retailer in the United States
Loop's pilot at Kroger concluded and provided encouraging results. Customers highlighted their desire to see more reuse products and offerings in-store.

How it Worked:
Kroger How it Works 1
1 - Shop your favorite products, redesigned to be waste free
Visit the Loop aisle to shop a wide selection of products from leading brands in zero waste, refillable packaging.
Kroger Return Bag
2 - Don't forget to grab a return bag
This returnable bag allows you to return multiple containers at once. Don't forget to pick one up in store to facilitate your returns.
Kroger Return
3 - Return your empty packaging
Once you've enjoyed your products, bring your empty containers back to the store and drop them off in the Loop collection bin. Your deposits are refunded via the Loop Deposit app and Loop collects and cleans the empty packaging, getting it ready to be reused again and again.
Kroger - Zero Hunger Image
“Kroger’s commitment to embrace innovation on our path to Zero Hunger | Zero Waste aligns perfectly with Loop’s mission to create a convenient circular packaging solution for consumers,” said Jessica Adelman, Kroger’s group vice president of corporate affairs. “We believe in giving our customers sustainable packaging choices they can feel good about. As the founding retailer for Loop in the United States, Kroger is taking another big step toward a world with zero waste.”
